That Random Guy – The Blog is a writer’s wish to extend the knowledge and viewpoints to those that seek. What makes this blog relevant to readers is the perspective.
Denzel Washington puts it perfectly.
If you don’t read the newspaper, you’re uninformed. If you do read it, you’re misinformed.
Perspective Writing is a very slippery slope. The power of reframing ideas cannot be overstated but when this power is used to reframe reality, objectivity goes down the drain almost immediately.
I don’t believe in reality-based observation because that defies the very essence of observation. The right approach to ideas is always subjective but reality must remain objective. The reality is that not many can visibly spot the line that defines objective reality and subjective matter. In the world where the first gets pursed, the lines have been blurred. Same stories just reframed and repeated.
Event –> Gathering Process –> Reframed –> Reporting.
to give you a perspective, any time a new event reporting takes place, go to a different news channel and count the number of times you hear the word “Exclusive” being repeated. That’s where the lines get blurred and then they slowly creep into other subject matters.
This has a simple solution.
Solution: Stop worrying about the events. Stop event focused reading. Recognize the essence of the event. It is no longer about reading the lines. It is read between the lines.
I intend to bring to the readers, the line between the lines.
I intend to bring to the readers, the essence of the event and not the event.
I intend to bring to the readers, not the content but the substance.
In just 282 words, let me introduce myself.
The Random Guy.
